Disk Password Protection предоставляет пользователю выбор защиты, которая ему больше подойдет. Первый вид защиты - Защита Загрузки. Если вы выберите эту защиту, то никто не сможет загрузить ваш компьютер без ввода установленного вами пароля. Следующий вид защиты - Защита Разделов. Многие пользователи хранят свою конференциальную информацию на отдельных разделах диска. Защитите этот раздел и никакая операционная система или другая программа не увидят его. Вместо него будет отображаться лишь свободное место диска. Защита низкого уровня позволяет заблокировать жесткий диск от любых попыток чтения/записи. Эта защита работает только с ATA-совместимыми жесткими дисками и может быть активирована только из MS-DOS.
Внимание, если вы установите защиту низкого уровня и вдруг потеряете пароль, защиту с диска снять будет невозможно!
