Network Eagle Monitor Description

Network Eagle ist ein leistungsfähiges Tool, das zur Überwachung des Zustandes verschiedener Fernnetzdienste, zur Sendung verschiedener Alarmsignale und zur Durchführung einiger Massnahmen bei Netzwerkproblemen fähig ist.

Bei der Wartung grosser Netzwerke ist es absolut wichtig, die stabile Performance des Netzwerks zu sichern. Das ist eine komplizierte und routinemässige Aufgabe. Deshalb haben wir Network Eagle konzipiert. Der Anwender erstellt einmalig eine kategorisierte Liste von Checks, die das Programm dann in regelmäßigen Intervallen ausführt. Auf der Basis dieser Prüfergebnisse werden verschiedene Alarmsignale aktiviert, die es Ihnen ermöglichen, schnelle Entscheidungen zu treffen und so Zeit zu sparen. Die Programmierer haben besonderes Augenmerk auf die Benutzeroberfläche des Programmes gelegt und es letztendlich sehr eingängig und praktisch gestaltet. Das Programm kann als feste Desktopapplikation oder als NT Serviceprogramm gefahren werden. Im letzten Fall ist es möglich, das Programm auf dem Server laufen zu lassen und es vom Computer des Administrators zu bedienen.
Zusätzlich zu den standardmässigen Prüfverfahren wie ICMP, TCP port, HTTP(S), FTP und Speicherplatzüberprüfung kann Network Eagle auch Datenbanken über ODBC, einschliesslich MS SQL über eigene Schnittstellen, überprüfen. Network Eagle führt auch die Prüfung von Fernprozessen/NT Diensten durch. Man kann das Programm leicht aktualisieren und eigene Prüfaufgaben und Alarmsignale schreiben. Das Programm bietet auch eine ganze Reihe anderer nützlicher Eigenschaften und Fähigkeiten an, wie zum Beispiel: Überprüfung des Netzdruckers; ein benutzerfreundliches und flexibles Warnsystem; erweiterte Protokollierung aller Prüf- und Alarmvorfälle (einschliesslich Unterstützung von automatisiertem Protokollwechsel); Verwaltung verschiedener Prüfstatistiken; Export der Daten in XML und HTML Formate usw.
