IconXP di Aha-soft permette di modificare icone e di personalizzare l’aspetto del desktop di Windows. Supporta nuovi formati di icone introdotti in Windows Vista (trasparenza attenuata e altri effetti visuali). Con questo programma è possibile creare e modificare icone di dimensioni sia standard che personalizzate, a profondità colore fino a 32-bit True Color, con canale alpha a 8-bit. Tra gli strumenti per disegnare ci sono: sostituzione colore, selezione colore, spruzzatore, matita, pennello, riempimento, testo, linea, rettangolo, curva, ellisse, rettangolo 3d. Si possono usare i modificatori per applicare sfumature colori e riempimento a scacchiera. Per le icone Windows XP ci sono impressionanti effetti ombra e omogeneità.

IconXP supporta formati file .ico, .ani, .cur, .wmf, .emf, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .xpm, .xbm, .wbmp, Mac OS e Adobe Photoshop .psd. Si possono importare schermate catturate. IconXP permette di importare, esportare e modificare tavolozze colori per le immagini delle icone.

IconXP consente di modificare le icone standard di Windows e le icone delle cartelle e di personalizzare gli attributi del desktop. Si possono facilmente sostituire, colorare e salvare le icone normalmente utilizzate da Windows per visualizzare vari oggetti - Risorse del computer, Cestino, Internet, oggetti del menu di avvio, unità, cartelle di sistema e cartelle utente. Puoi inoltre nascondere o cambiare gli shortcut overlay. Ci sono i comandi per modificare la dimensione e la risoluzione colore delle icone desktop e per ricostruire la cache delle icone.
