Docklight Scripting Description

Docklight Scripting ist eine erweiterte Variante des Docklight RS232 Terminal / RS232 Monitor. Sie bietet eine einfach zu benutzende Skriptsprache in Verbindung mit einem eingebauten Editor, um automatisierte Testläufe zu erstellen. Ein Docklight Skript erlaubt Ihnen, alle grundlegenden Docklight-Funktionen auszuführen (Senden einer vordefinierten Datensequenz, Aufspüren spezieller Datensequenzen im empfangenen Datenstrom, ...) und diese in ein eigenes Testprogramm einzubetten. Docklight Scripting bieten Ihnen eine flexible und gleichzeitig einfache Lösung. Mit geringem Zeitaufwand können Sie Ihre eigenen Testwerkzeuge zusammenstellen:
* Zyklische Testprogramme (z.B. Fahrprogramm für den Dauertest einer Motorsteuerung / eines Antriebs)
* Zeitgesteuerte Testläufe (z.B. Senden eines Diagnosekommandos zu bestimmten Tageszeiten)
* Skripte zur automatisierten Gerätekonfiguration (z.B. Rücksetzen eines RS232-Geräts auf die Werkseinstellungen bei Auslieferung)
* Werkzeuge zur Fehleranalyse für Service und Wartung (z.B. Ausführen mehrerer Diagnosekommandos und automatische Fehleranalyse anhand der Geräteantwort)
* Protokolltester mit automatischer Prüfsummenberechnung (z.B. CRC - Cyclic Redundancy Codes)
* Automatischer Start der Docklight-Anwendung (z.B. Starten des COM-Port-Logging nach einem PC-Neustart)
Docklight Scripting setzt VBScript ein und erlaubt Ihnen so, Testprogramme in einer simplen und bekannten Skriptsprache zu erstellen. Die Docklight-Basisfunktionen können über einen kompakten und einfachen Befehlssatz angesprochen werden. Vorbereitete Beispiele und umfangreiche Hilfe machen den Umgang mit Docklight Scripting leicht und ermöglichen produktives Arbeiten von Beginn an.
