Das Programm CamUniversal kommt mit WebCams, NetCams und allen anderen Videoquellen bestens zurecht. Die Kameras lassen sich leicht zur Ueberwachung von Raeumen verwenden und uebertragen dank CamUniversal ihre Bilder nicht nur auf den eigenen PC, sondern auch auf alle anderen PCs im Netzwerk oder direkt ins Internet. CamUniversal ist das Programm der Wahl, wenn es darum geht, eine an den Computer angeschlossene Videoquelle auf ebenso vielseitige wie intelligente Weise zu nutzen. Dabei erkennt das Programm WebCams, NetCams (so genannte IP-Cams) und alle anderen Videoquellen, die sich über einen aktuellen Windows-Treiber ansprechen lassen. Das Programm ist mit einem Netzwerk-Server-Client ausgestattet. Es ist dazu in der Lage, Videos von allen Kameras von einem Server-PC auf alle angeschlossenen PCs zu uebertragen. Ein integrierter Webserver erlaubt es auch, die Videos über eine HTTP-Anfrage direkt im Internet abzurufen.
