Das Versenden von unverschlüsselte Emails gehört jetzt der Vergangenheit an. Mit abylon CRYPTMAIL bietet abylonsoft eine einfache Anwendung zur zertifikatsbasierten Verschlüsselung (PKCS-Standard) Ihrer geheimen Daten.
Das AddIn für Outlook (ab Outlook 2000 / nicht Outlook Express) ermöglicht innerhalb der Browseroberfläche mit zwei Schaltern das Erstellen und Auspacken von sogenannten SME-Dateien (Secure Message Envelope = Signieren und Verschlüsseln in einem Schritt). Das SME-Format schützen Ihre Daten vor dem unberechtigten Zugriff und nur der Besitzer des passenden Privaten Schlüssels kann die Email wieder öffnen und lesen.
Zudem wird eine einfache Oberfläche zum Erstellen der verschlüsselten Emails angeboten. Der Text und die Anlagen werden zuerst verschlüsselt und mit Ihrem Zertifikat digital unterschrieben. Danach werden die erstellten SME-Dateien zu Ihrem Email-Programm weitergeleitet (MAPI-Schnittstelle) und können dort ganz einfach versand werden.
