Der Softros LAN Messenger ist ein sicherer Netzwerk Messenger zum Nachrichten- und Datenaustausch von Computer zu Computer für LANs, WANs und im Intranet. Die preiswerte Software benötigt keinen zentralen Server und ist einfach zu installieren und zu nutzen. Außer dem sofortigen Nachrichtenaustausch ermöglicht Softros LAN Messenger auch geschützte Nachrichtenübertragung und Gespräche. Die Nachrichten werden durch einen starken Verschlüsselungsalgorithmus geschützt. Mit dem Softros LAN Messenger können Sie Dokumente mit Ihren Kollegen schnell und einfach austauschen. Gruppierung der Benutzer lässt Sie Benutzer aus der Kontaktliste in Gruppen anzuordnen (Sie können Ihre Kollegen nach der Abteilung anordnen). Sie können Nachrichten gleichzeitig an alle Kollegen aus einer Gruppe schicken (Broadcast-Messages), wenn Sie diesen von einem Ereignis mitteilen wollen. Sie brauchen keinen speziellen Nachrichten-Server zu installieren. Softros LAN Messenger ist ein Standalone-Client, mit dem Sie Geld sparen, da Sie keinen speziellen Server brauchen. Mit Softros LAN Messenger brauchen Sie keine Internetverbindung; die Software arbeitet in LAN, bzw. WAN und spart somit Ihre Internetquote und belastet die Firewall nicht, so sind Sie vor Attacken von Außen und vor den IM-Würmer sicher. Administrator kann bestimmte Funktionen von Softros LAN Messenger für einfache Benutzer sperren.
