Archivarius 3000은 사용자의 컴퓨터 및 이동식 드라이브(CD, DVD)에 있는 문서 검색 및 이메일 검색을 위한 모든 기능을 구비한 프로그램입니다. 키워드 또는 복합 언어를 사용하여 문서를 검색할 수 있습니다. 인터넷 검색 엔진과 동일합니다. 검색 작업을 진행하는 도중, 프로그램은 18가지의 언어를 문서 검색에 사용하여 단어 조합의 모든 경우의 수를 생각해 문서의 내용을 찾아냅니다.

이 프로그램은 문서에 대한 모든 정보를 추출하여 저장하고, 만약 문서에 물리적으로 접근이 불가능하다 할지라도 검색 또는 보기가 가능합니다. Archivarius 3000은 키워드를 사용하여 요청한 문서 파일이 위치한 디스크에서 정확하게 해당 문서를 찾습니다.

Archivarius 3000은 인터넷을 통하여 원격 접속이 가능한 프로그램입니다. 이 기능을 사용하여 사용자는 원격으로 문서를 찾아서 해당 문서의 내용을 확인할 수 있으며, 또한 내려받을 수 있습니다. 또한 사용자가 집 밖의 사무실에 있을 때 웹 브라우저를 사용하여 이메일로 해당 문서를 전송할 수 있습니다.
