GsLantern EASY! Description

GsLantern EASY! hilft, Dokumente in Formaten zu verteilen, die auf jedem Computersystem und im Internet dargestellt werden können, und bannt die Gefahr, ungewollt versteckte Informationen oder gar Computerviren weiterzugeben. Es wandelt Windows- und Office-Dateien (DOC, XLS, PPT, SNP, TXT, BMP, etc.) unkompliziert nach PDF, TIFF, JPEG oder PNG um oder nimmt einen ASCII-Textextrakt vor (TXT). Auch sofortiger Mailversand und Sofortansicht sind im Leistungsumfang. Für alle Zielformate stehen zahlreiche feinstufige Einstellmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung, insbesondere bzgl. Grafikauflösungsreduktion, Web-Optimierung, Anti-Aliasing und HTML-Darstellung. Das Programm ist optimiert für einfachste Bedienung (Dateien aus dem Windows-Explorer auf das Programmfenster ziehen und fallenlassen, oder Zielformat für beliebig viele im Explorer markierte Dateien im Senden-an-Kontextmenü anklicken) und für Massendurchsatz (beliebig viele Dateien in einem Schritt umwandeln, Kommandozeilensteuerung). Die Festlegung eines eigenen Ablageverzeichnisses für jedes Zielformat auch im Netzwerk, die Aufrufmöglichkeit über den Windows-Auftragsdienst und der zur Indizierung nutzbaren Textextrakt empfehlen GsLantern EASY! für semiprofessionelle Archivierungsaufgaben. - Technisch gesehen ist GsLantern EASY! ein grafisches Frontend für das kostenlos verfügbare GhostScript, automatisiert den Zwischenschritt über PostScript jedoch vollständig. Zudem erweitert GsLantern die Möglichkeiten von GhostScript um Batch-Verarbeitung, HTML-Generierung, Mailversand, Sofortansicht u.v.a.m. - GsLantern EASY! kommt mit einem Installationsprogramm, eine vollständige Deinstallation ist einfach möglich. Die Installation von GhostScript und dem PostScript-Treiber wird von einem Assistenten unterstützt.
